Tamiqa is a product of Alman Operations L.L.C-FZ, Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E. (“we”). Alman Operations L.L.C-FZ is the controller for the data described below and provides a booking and appointment-reminder service. Contact: info@tamiqa.com.
For a booking we store only what is needed: your name, phone number, the booking time, the service, and (where relevant) an address, vehicle or meeting link you provide. We do not sell your data.
To deliver the booking you requested and to send appointment confirmations and reminders. Messages are sent on your explicit consent, given when you book. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message.
Reminders are delivered via WhatsApp (operated by Meta) and/or SMS. Your message is processed by these providers, which may process data outside the UAE/EU (including the USA). We only send organisational messages about your booking — never advertising without separate consent.
The business (e.g. your salon, clinic or tradesperson) is the controller of your booking and uses Tamiqa as its processor to manage appointments and reminders.
We keep booking data only as long as needed for the service and legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
We use only strictly necessary cookies — a secure sign-in session cookie and anti-fraud/CSRF tokens — which are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Directive/GDPR because the service cannot work without them. We also store a few first-party preferences in your browser (your language and, if you allow it, a “remember me” token so you can re-open your bookings without another code). We use no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies. You can accept or decline non-essential preferences via the cookie banner or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer at any time.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is therefore nothing to opt out of, but you retain all access/deletion rights below.
If a public authority, court or law-enforcement body asks us for your personal data, we review the legality of the request before we answer it: who is asking, whether they have jurisdiction over us, what legal basis they name, and whether we are even the right addressee. Where a request is unlawful or overly broad, we challenge it rather than comply. If we do have to disclose, we hand over only the specific data asked for — never a database export. Every request, our response and the reasoning behind it is documented, including the ones we refuse.
We will tell you about a request concerning your data unless a law or court order forbids it; if we are only barred temporarily, we tell you once that bar lifts. For the data of a booking, the business you booked with is the controller and we are its processor — such requests belong to that business, and we notify it as far as the law allows.
